NMSU Grants has small studio art classes with courses in drawing, painting, jewelry, and welded arts. I teach the drawing and painting courses and my colleague Robert Estevan teaches the jewelery and welded arts courses.
We have a literary magazine that is produced in house titled Inscriptions. I collect art and writing samples and have them judged by our staff and faculty. I also work on the layout of the magazine using InDesign and sometimes I will train a student worker in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator to work on the layout for Inscriptions.
